Dream Hole is fortunate to have Wayne Villeneuve documenting the birth and life of Dream Hole Mining Company as it embarks on its historic quest to mine diamonds and gold in the interior of Guyana, South America. Wayne is the owner of Slice of Life Video Productions of Littleton, Colorado. Wayne has been in the film and video production business for many years. In the 1980’s, he won an Emmy for his documentary on extreme skiers in avalanche prone areas of the Colorado Rockies.
His first assignment with Dream Hole was to film the shareholder kick off event at the home of Lloyd and Sheria Johnson in Homosassa, Florida in mid January. His next assignment was during an expedition to the jungle with a team of Dream Hole Investors, staff and our geologist. During this trip he was able to capture various meetings including one with the Commissioner of the Guyana Geology and Mining Commission. He then traveled with the team on several small aircraft flights 156 miles into the jungle and slept, ate and lived alongside the crew in our camp. He captured all aspects of the trip from the air transport, the hike into the jungle, sieving for diamonds and gold, to the trip out by boat.
His next assignment is to video the arrival of our road crew and heavy equipment into the Port of Georgetown, Guyana, then follow them to the interior for the first leg of building the Upper Mazaruni Road which will terminate at our mining site. We are fortunate to have Wayne along with us and the anticipation is that the many hours of filming will be edited into a one or two hour documentary to be aired on one of the leading educational or travel channels such as Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel or The Travel Channel.
